The mission of CERT organizations is to prepare California families, neighborhoods and communities for emergency events. Our focus is help using resources in the community to support it. Making them proficient in the mitigation, preparation, response and recovery from events and natural disasters.

It is also a purpose of CERT to operate in a collaborative manner with other organizations sharing information about training and regional disaster risks and, as appropriate, sharing resources, providing mutual aid and equipment during an emergency. With that mission we would support and collaborate with other communities.
